Arrived covered in a sticky substance that smells of superglue. Thought that might be normal so I washed it. Realised it was supposed to have liquid in it. Never brought anything like this before. Kaiko refuses to issue a refund.
This is my current fave 'work' fidget.
Quiet + Pocket size = Discrete fidget for meetings.
The spiky roller delivers just enough ouch. I use this fidget to ground myself when I am feeling activated.
I loath public speaking, this fidget is my go to sensory support. Before speaking, I roll the roller in my hand, consciously shifting my focus from thoughts of running away, to mindfully engaging in the feeling of the spikes on my palm, while box breathing. When it's time to speak, I hold the fidget, now still in my hand, take a deep breathe and begin.
If you are someone with a limited social battery and you enjoy a little ouch, this one is for you!
I wanted to buy this ring for ages and it was well worth the wait! The ring has a nice heft to it and the texture is reminiscent of an inverse Octopus tentacle wrapping around my finger. The ring makes a lovely satisfying click and is not suitable for a classroom/open plan office. I love using this fidget when I'm stuck in traffic or working from home.
amazing weight, spins smooth. we love this fidget in the office.
I've used the Silkworm Fidget a couple of times now at in-person training sessions and found it to be a very handy little Fidget and good replacement for my more obvious hair twirling. I've never purposely taken a fidget with me to a training session before, and I found this to be a perfect entry fidget as a recently neurodivergent-diagnosed adult woman who is only just becoming aware of my stimming needs in certain settings. Plus, I'm in love with the oil slick colourway - looks stylish and funky. Very happy with my Silkworm.
