I love that Kaiko recognise strong sensations can be regulating for some people, and create tools to make "safe ouch" possible. I've wanted to try something like this for a while since my existing coping techniques are not always very practical or safe, but I was waiting for them to come up with something that would be easy to use on any part of the body, as I'm not a huge fan of sensations on my hands/wrists.
Well they did! And the ouch factor is strong with this one. It is, as other reviewers have noted, very spiky. The most "ouch" comes from rolling it in your hand firmly, since there are more nerve endings there, but you can also roll it more lightly and it just feels like a rough texture rather than "ouch". It also works on arms/legs (as I was hoping) and feels good for my muscles and circulation. Like one of those acupressure mats but rollable.
It's also beautiful! Look at it!
P.s. this one came with an allen key for tightening the bolts but the other metal fidget I got didn't.

This is amazing. The weight is perfect, and I can dig my hands into it to help stop running thoughts! I have a lot of problems with running thoughts and this is a really good aid to help keep them under control.
Amazing, I highly recommend it! The toy is not completely silent- however I find it very comfortable to grasp and no slipping when I fidget. GRAB ONE!

Absolutely love the feel of this roller! The spikes give just the right amount of sensory input, and I’m obsessed with the oil slick rainbow finish.
Fantastic product, weighted, great metal build. It doesn't feel like I'm going to break it. Bearings are nice and smooth. Spikes just the right amount to give that spikey sense without being too painful.
Recommended for my daughter for her psychologist. My daughter loves it as it is providing the required sensations on her skin and it looks great too.
Coming into this review from a really different place than what a lot of the other reviewers appear to be coming from so I especially wanted to review for anyone else looking for these tools. I'm not on the spectrum, but have diagnosed C-PTSD, PTSD with dissociation and I've got an eating disorder. Part of my struggle with PTSD is BFRB's. I have a tendency to pick and bite my skin and nails, pull my hair out and pick my nose until I've damaged far up into my nasal passage and give myself frequent blood noses. I've been getting a really focused mental health care approach the last year or so especially, and since receiving my diagnosis and a lot more support, I was put into a number of therapy programs that teach me how to come back into my body. I'm doing fairly well with handling my PTSD now but the struggle is still with my BFRB's. I've given myself Paronychia twice in the last 8 months from biting my fingers (antibiotics, ugh) and I kind of landed on this website after my therapist gave me a sniff box. I felt a little silly being some place in public sniffing away at it until I realised that I got myself through the episode and was able to put away my sniff box and resume my normal activities and that's what prompted me to find more tools. I love the range Kaiko has because it helps me to think of things I could use that I wouldn't necessarily have done in the moment but still do the job pulling me out of the harmful behaviour. Another thing that matters to me a lot, which might sound really strange, is that they don't leave a smell on my hands? I hate hate hate the smell of metal on my skin and I really like that I can use my fidgets as needed and put them back into their tin (more on that) and go back to my usual activity. Another cool thing is that they come in their own tins and I think that's great for keeping them safe but they're also really amazing quality and heavy so it keeps everything else safe around them too. Great for popping in your bag and you know you won't damage whatever's in there. I actually find myself packing a bigger bag when I leave the house just to be able to accommodate my fidgets because I do, in fact, need them.
I bought two items when I got the Spikey Hand Roller and I didn't expect to love this one the most but the ouch factor of this stops me from pulling my hair out entirely, I love it. Thank. you so much, absolutely worth the price tag.
I have one of the original textured hand rollers and love it a lot. I wanted to give the spikey one a try for the 'ouch' factor. My other hand roller is quite a bit heavier, so at first I wasn't sure if this one would feel too light, but the 100g is actually the perfect weight to sit in my hand with a little heft without feeling heavy. The 'ouch' sensation is sharper than I thought it would be, which is perfect, as I also worried that it might be too dull.
I will say that the other hand roller feels 'smoother' to me from a textural perspective. The spikes on this one have a slight catch to them against my skin that makes holding it feel slightly 'drier'. I'm not quite sure how to explain that sensation - I might compare it to the difference between running my hands over polished metal vs unpolished metal. That takes a bit of getting used to, and I'm not sure if it's an effect of the black vs the oil slick or if it's just a result of the spikes, but it doesn't bother me much. On the whole, this is one of my favourite fidgets and it's exactly what I needed it to be. :)

The most amazing thing ever. So versatile: the spiky, the roll and I also find myself spinning the individual parts of the roller too depending on what I need at the time. Great amount of pressure as well just the right amount of spiky. Only problem is now I want to try all the different rollers hahaha!!!
I tend to rub things with the heel of my hand when I'm stressed or need to ground myself, this is the perfect fidget for me. The spikes feel so good and ground me a little faster than just my hands.

Hi there. This is the first Kaiko product I don’t like. The product it’s self if flawless, performs well, and is very high quality.
My dislike is only down to my preference, as I would prefer a soft hand roller instead.

Love the level of ouch. Really brings me back to the present and regulate. Really smooth in the hand. Wish it was a bit heavier so I don't have to apply as much pressure when using between my palms. Also, it came with an allen key... wasnt sure what I was supposed to do with it as the sides are opened with allen keys but is there a reason I would need to use it?
So thrilled you love it.. Took me 2 years to develop We have a heavier version coming in February that will be black. its a very different price point though as made from copper. The allen key is for tightening should it need it. goes in the end :) JO

EUROPE : Unfortunately EU is an exception. Customs in many EU locations have been bouncing parcels and RTS, without explanation so we have had to suspend sending to the location as the goods are just not getting through.

RE SQUISHIES - Due to the flexible, squishy & stretchy nature of these products, it does mean they don’t last forever. It would be awesome if they did, but unfortunately they don't...
Depending on how they are used, they can last an hour, week or a year. All squishy and stretchy items are durable, but not indestructible. Squishies typically have a plug/join where they were filled. This is its most vulnerable spot, so if at all possible it is best to use this palm side in so the least amount of pressure is placed in the join. This will maximise its life.
They are not recommended for children who may try to bite, chew or ingest the contents. Avoid aggressive or excessive squishing, stretching and contact with any sharp objects.
