The Calm Buddi Turtle is the perfect tool for those who require a significant "ouch" to help regulate. The opposite side (under side of the shell) is incredibly smooth and calming, perfect for those days when the anxiety and panic is a little too much. Highly reccomend.
This calm buddi has helped so much with anxiety in stressful situations. We love how small, discreet, and easy to keep on hand it is.

Bought two, one for work and one for my key ring. It’s handy to have a fidget toy available on my key ring. This one also has a smooth side, spikes and can flip open and closed, so suitable for a range of sensory needs.

Person using it loves it and says it is the right amount of pain they are looking for and they feel the same effect with reduction of anxiety and big emotions instantly without hurting their person.
I ordered these little guys after I already placed an order. I contacted Kaiko and they added them to an existing order so I didn’t have to pay shipping again and to my surprise they sent them out separately anyway as a part of the free shipping on the original order even though the original order wasn’t ready to be sent out yet.
They came out in a really cool packaging box and it was a wonderful little surprise to open

The hinged shell is difficult to open and close and constantly pops off the hinges. My daughter (12) has now lost the shell covering and fluff (and other unidentified grubbiness) is building up in the spikes.
She really loves the sensory input and it is the perfect size to keep in her pocket at school!
100% agree the shell can be tricky functionally. i recommend (in description also) to discard shell as its a barrier to quick access also. for moat that use these its the safe ouch needed so immediate access for thumb/finger critical. in terms of dirt the great thing is they are easily washable - warm soapy water:)
These are so useful for providing for self harm minimisation for the young people I support as a youth worker!

The little shell doesn't stay on the turtle, when you open it to feel the spikey bits, the shell falls off completely so my daughter can't take it out of the house because she's worried she will lose the shell and then it'll look silly.
I agree, its not our product so i can change design - my recommendation (which i have in the description too) is to just get rid of the shell. The main purpose of this tool is safe ouch, it delivers that exceptionally well. the back is more decorative. In fact, the second it takes to open the turtle to access the inner awesome ouch is a second longer for the support which is a long time in fact for regulation. Noone of my turtles I personally use, i have many as its a go to... have backs.. i discard for function. Hope that helps :) Jo

I ordered the calm buddi turtle, a chewy necklace & a puzzle game for ny 7 year old daughter and they are AMAZING! it has been so hard to find a chewy necklace that out-lasts her and the sensory needs she has, and so far it's holding up great! Other ones from other places have only lasted up to 2 weeks at a time. The puzzle game has been a fantastic addition to her sensory box at school for those moments of overwhelm and the turtle, I can't tell you enough how much this has helped in those moments of meltdowns where she wants the sensation of hurting, it's a safe and easy tool to have to help her get that sensation quickly and safely so we can manage easier. I'll definitely be looking into more tools from Kaiko for my daughter!! Brilliant, Thank you so much!

As a previous self harmer this is a life saver for those hard days when I want to relapse it also brings my family comfort that I have a safe way to battle my urgers. 10/10 recommend to any parent who has a child in a self harm situation. Also cute design makes it subtle so you don't have to fear to social embarrassment of using it in public. just wish it came in green hehe.

We ship to most destinations around the world. There are some set up for flat rate shipping.
EUROPE : Unfortunately EU is an exception. Customs in many EU locations have been bouncing parcels and RTS, without explanation so we have had to suspend sending to the location as the goods are just not getting through.
Please note that charges do not include any duty/taxes charged by your country's port authorities (if applicable). You will be responsible for any charges they may add. We are unable to quote these as they vary immensely from country to country.
If you country isn't setup for flat rate shipping please email us a list of the products you are interested in and your shipping information /address to orders@kaikofidgets.com and we can provide you with a quote.

Please note its coming from 'down under' & therefore parcels can take weeks (sometimes more than that) to arrive depending on location. If an international parcel is taking longer that it should, do let us know and we will follow up with carrier. Please note we cannot resend packaged UNTIL the carrier deems it LOST, which can frustratingly take up to 21 days sometimes. Please note for hygiene reasons we cannot accept these as returns if opened or handled as we cannot re sell them. No one wants a squishy or chew support handled by others lol. A tad ick.

RE SQUISHIES - Due to the flexible, squishy & stretchy nature of these products, it does mean they don’t last forever. It would be awesome if they did, but unfortunately they don't...
Depending on how they are used, they can last an hour, week or a year. All squishy and stretchy items are durable, but not indestructible. Squishies typically have a plug/join where they were filled. This is its most vulnerable spot, so if at all possible it is best to use this palm side in so the least amount of pressure is placed in the join. This will maximise its life.
They are not recommended for children who may try to bite, chew or ingest the contents. Avoid aggressive or excessive squishing, stretching and contact with any sharp objects.
Please note a warranty is not provided unless product is faulty on first opening.
