HAND CRUNCHY Caterpillar Fidget by Kaiko
The Crunchy Caterpillar is the cousin to our Caterpillar fidget. It has larger stainless steel beads WITH A DIFFERENCE! They have texture and create a sound and 'crunchy feel' on roll. It’s a bit similar to rolling the flint of a lighter in sound and sensory input.
However, for some the texture is icky. It is similar to the flint of a lighter. You will know immediately if it is for you. Watch the video on it being used and from that you should know if it is for you or not just by hearing it.
Many rub the cord also. You can push your fingers in between the beads for a similar sensation to the pea popper.

- also wonderful for decreasing agitation for those with dementia and anxiety.
We also have this in a necklace version.
Not suitable for 3 and under as beads can pose a choking risk.
Please note they are made using cord that can frey over time due to friction. This is wear and tear and cannot be avoided. The time this takes to occur can depend on how the fidget is used.

The crunchy caterpillar is definitely one of those textures you either love or hate immediately. I loveee it. It feels a lot like the flint of a lighter, and it's the same textured feel as the elite textured loop and textured hand roller. My partner frequently borrows my crunchypillar, so much so that it's basically his now 😂

this is my second crunchy caterpillar fidget cause my boyfriend’s got my other one. i was worried when i got my first one that i wouldnt like the texture but safe to say this is my go to fidget! it can be quiet and subtle when you need it, i often keep it in my pocket at work, but because of the crunch it can have some noise feedback if you like that too. definitely not for everyone but i’m happy to say this one’s for me :)

I have never left a bad review before but all the items that arrived felt cheap and not worth the inflated costs. My child was really disappointed.

You purchased 3 items - one a hand crafted metal crunchy caterpillar with food grade 304 grade SS beads, nothing cheap quality about those, second speks magnets a USA product, and same price everwhere. Best in market for this range and third item was our magnetic rings - original plastic ones, silver colour though - they are budget friendly and magnets x 2 thicker than any other comparable ones for performance. . we do have metal ones also that are heavier, and more expensive. We literally are the leading creator and supplier of high quality items, yes they arent the same price, because we care more about need, performance and function. Sad to hear these didnt meet your expectations but definitely agree if these didnt, our range isnt going to as these are not low quality. Hope you find what youre after for needs. Thats the most important thing :) JO
After falling in love with the finger spikeys I decided to go with the hand crunchy over the silkworm and I'm ecstatic with it! Definitely not a silent fidget the way I use it (sliding the beads against each other under a lot of pressure makes the knurling sound and feel like the best rachet detents 💕) so while I still have my silent spikeys for the train, the crunchy has become my go to while driving since it redirects me from picking at my nails/cuticles and helps with traffic frustration.
I loop the wrist strap over my hand so I don't have to think about dropping it too and just hang it on the rearview mirror when I park so fingers crossed it won't be a casualty to my constant misplacing of things (spikeys included 😭).

This is one of the most satisfying things I've ever experienced. You can do a light, rolly crunch or a heavy, grinding crunch. Both are great but OH that grindy crunch really hits the spot haha. It doesn't hurt at all (if that worries you) but grinding the beads does give a little vibration which is nice. This is one of my favourite Kaiko's.
A great little pocket fidget can be used very discreetly. Great quality

He is currently going through a very hard stressful time and his anxiety levels are through the roof.
Unfortunately it was stolen from him , he was devastated.

We ship to most destinations around the world. There are some set up for flat rate shipping.
EUROPE : Unfortunately EU is an exception. Customs in many EU locations have been bouncing parcels and RTS, without explanation so we have had to suspend sending to the location as the goods are just not getting through.
Please note that charges do not include any duty/taxes charged by your country's port authorities (if applicable). You will be responsible for any charges they may add. We are unable to quote these as they vary immensely from country to country.

Please note its coming from 'down under' & therefore parcels can take weeks (sometimes more than that) to arrive depending on location. If an international parcel is taking longer that it should, do let us know and we will follow up with carrier. Please note we cannot resend packaged UNTIL the carrier deems it LOST, which can frustratingly take up to 21 days sometimes. RE SQUISHIES - Due to the flexible, squishy & stretchy nature of these products, it does mean they don’t last forever. It would be awesome if they did, but unfortunately they don't...
Depending on how they are used, they can last an hour, week or a year. All squishy and stretchy items are durable, but not indestructible. Squishies typically have a plug/join where they were filled. This is its most vulnerable spot, so if at all possible it is best to use this palm side in so the least amount of pressure is placed in the join. This will maximise its life.
They are not recommended for children who may try to bite, chew or ingest the contents. Avoid aggressive or excessive squishing, stretching and contact with any sharp objects.
Please note a warranty is not provided unless product is faulty on first opening.
